Family Photographer Rochester NY | Occasionally I get asked if a mini session is really enough time for family pictures. The biggest concern parents have is – my kids won’t behave and we’ll need more time to get them to sit and smile. My answer – mini sessions are perfect for kids that don’t sit still! They are actually perfect for most kids. I don’t need your kids to sit and smile for more than a couple of seconds to get that perfect family photo. I have a few magic tricks to make sure we get that perfect picture with everyone looking and smiling super fast, and then we move on. We play, we tickle, we laugh and have fun. We have so much fun that the kids don’t have time to get annoyed, or squirmy. I can’t tell you how many times we’re all done and the kids say, “that was so much fun!” or even, “can we set up a play date?!” So if you’re wondering if a mini session is enough time for your family photos, I thought I’d share some of the photos from one of last year’s mini sessions.
