Baby Photography Rochester NY | I love, love, loved this cake smash session. The birthday boy was one of the happiest babies in my studio this year. These pandemic days, it can be tricky to get a one year old to smile for me because they seem to have a stronger sense of “stranger danger.” I bring all the silliness out to get smiles sometimes. This little guy was so easily amused by me, and so was his big brother! Getting a toddler to laugh is one of the best parts about my job, and I had two laughing! I also loved how sweet these brothers were together. They obviously already have a really great bond, and as a mom of two boy myself, that’s extra special.
And to continue the love fest – I also loved the color tones this family picked for their clothing. The blues, greens and neutrals look perfect for some snuggling together on my bed set. The neutral, earthy look for the cake smash is so classic too. A simple cake smash where the focus is all on your baby is my absolute favorite and will stand the test of time. I love that they can hang these photos up in their home and they’ll never go out of style.
