City News Best of Rochester 2018 Finalist for Best Local Photographer!
Being a parent is a journey. It’s exhausting, magical, and soul-defining. You go through so many transformations. Your tiny baby becomes a toddler, then a big kid, a pre-teen and then edges ever so quickly into adulthood. Every year your kids will do something to make you stop and wonder, “where does the time go?” It can be a little unnerving at times.
This is where I come in. I’m here for you. Photography is an absolute passion of mine and I will work with you to make sure we capture exactly what you want.
Growing up, my dad was always behind his camera. I remember when I was maybe 6 years old, acting like him, so proudly taking pictures of my family with my Fisher Price camera – only to get them printed and find I had cut off everyone’s heads! I now have years of experience and education on my side. I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns and families and I am always challenging myself to learn something new.
When my boys came along, I truly started to understand the desire to capture their every detail. For me, it’s not just what your children look like as they grow, but also the emotion of a moment. I want you to look at your images and hear their laugh, or notice the way they lean into you.
Your experience with me is about more than just great photos. I will provide you with a prep packet full of images and information to make the process fun and easy – covering everything from how to get your kids/baby ready, to what to wear. I also take the time to get to know exactly what you’re hoping for from your session so that your photographs are unique to you, whether it’s a family session, newborn, your baby’s milestones, or even senior portraits!

What to know more?
I love cheese. My favorite TV show is still Friends. I love to make people laugh (even at my own expense!). Sunset light is my favorite (I’d rather not see sunrise). My favorite place to be is with my family – throw in a lake or an ocean, and I’d never want to leave!
