Rochester Newborn Photography | Little Matthew was so excited about his newborn session that he arrived a whole month early! (A girl can dream, right??) In all seriousness, Matthew is quite an amazing little one, and maybe he was excited to get here to meet his parents. He is a rainbow baby. If you’re not familiar with the story of a rainbow baby, a rainbow can only appear after a storm. While it is beautiful, it doesn’t diminish the effects of the storm. So, a rainbow baby comes after infant loss or miscarriage. Matthew’s parents wanted to honor the big brother he didn’t get to meet in his session. I always love being able to include siblings in baby’s session, so it was amazing for me to be able to do it in such a special way.
