Rochester, NY Child Photographer | This past weekend, I took my camera outside while my boys played in the snow. Within 20 or so minutes, I had already taken over 200 photos! It reminded me that I should be bringing out the “real” camera at home far more often than I do. I didn’t pose them. I just ran after them while they played, trying not to trip in the foot of snow as I ran up and down our little hill. They pretended they were clone troopers and saber tooth tigers. They rolled down the hill, threw snow balls, climbed trees and had absolutely no concept of how wet and cold they were getting.
Before we went outside I told the boys they had to clean up their toys. I don’t know how well your kids clean up, but mine usually take FOREVER. By the time we got outside, the sun was so low and golden that it looked absolutely beautiful. It may have been the first time their slow moving got us to where we were going at the perfect time.
